Bio: Suzi Rogers

Suzi has always had an interest in art and took some lessons in high school. It was not until she retired that she began painting in earnest. She took lessons from both Kathy Moss and Becky Wallace through the Gilmer Arts program. When Becky moved to Alabama, Suzi took over and offered a few classes during the summer months. She also teaches water color painting during the winter months in Florida. It’s her belief that given the proper instruction and the proper tools, almost anyone can produce a fine painting.

Class description:

This will be a beginner’s class in water color painting suitable for individuals with no painting experience and no drawing skills. The class will run from 9:30 to  mid-afternoon and the student will produce a completed painting to frame. The class will teach some of the specific tools and techniques used to create the desired effect for the subject being painted. The cost of the class is $75 and includes all supplies as well as a double mat for framing.
