Every month on the fourth Thursday anyone can attend the Ellijay Storytellers evening at Gilmer Arts. Sometimes they gather at the Gallery but most of the time you’ll find them at the George Link, Jr Gilmer Arts Playhouse telling stories. Some participants bring a ukulele or a keyboard or a guitar to play along with their story. This evening is open to anyone who has a story or wants to hear a story. But, as Mrs. Lucy says, “Be respectful, No bad cussin’, and no politikin.” We all gather for a good evening utilizing our abilities to share in the good ol’ oral tradition way.
Join us at the Playhouse (most months) for a good story. This is a free evening.
